It's easy to pass by impatiens and think they are "pedestrian"--but they are really champion flowers--blooming virtually nonstop from spring through summer, even in the shade.
I have tons of them this year. Truly, they are no maintenance other than watering. I have a planter on my deck that I fill with them every year. Once I went with something else just for variety, and couldn't wait 'til the next year when I could have my impatiens back!

ReplyDeleteI planted just a few flowers this year, and the impatiens are outshining them all (mostly because I have a lot of shade, and they do well there!).
