Certainly a lot of sobering sights there. But the lake is gorgeous! Nothing more spectacular than a mountain lake, I'm convinced. Beautiful shot.
ReplyDeleteAre you going up to the Eagle's Nest? The bus trip up there is worth it! (I can't remember how soon in the season they stop running the buses...) It's been a LOT of years since I've been, but it's spectacular. I was in my 20's when I lived in Germany for three years, and that's one thing that was SO different for me--the "history" in the books was still very much alive there.
