Is this in Germany? I loved the food in Germany. My favorite in Europe. My friend and I are planning either a walking or biking trip in Austria or England next year. :)
Yes, this was in Germany (we are here to celebrate the birthday of my husband's uncle). One difference between Austria and Germany is that people smoke like crazy in the restaurants in Austria and it is apparently no longer allowed inside in Germany. I was surprised that I noticed the smoking so much, as I once worked in the restaurant business before the no-smoking laws. I thought the smoke wouldn't bother me, but it does!
