I sat down after supper to relax with a cup of tea and the Yoga Journal magazine that came in the mail today. Too bad my shoulder is injured at the moment--all I can do is look at the pictures and think about doing yoga. (Does that count?)
Ha ha ha! I have that same philosophy of home decorating. I page through Pottery Barn over a cup of tea while sitting on my old IKEA sofa. Mental redecorating is much cheaper! Great photo and creative idea.
It is actually more beneficial than you think! I was just reading a study about injured athletes that could only 'think' their workouts and those who did it consistently gain their strength back fast than those who didn't. SO they tried the study on 'real' people and the group that did the thinking increased their muscle tone and strength by 5-8% while just sitting on the couch, those in the control group who didn't 'think' a workout didn't gain anything :)

ReplyDeleteYour colors are all complimentary, even down to the sweater in the chair...greens and browns. Love it!
